My name is Sabra House. I graduated from Smith College and earned my Master's Degree in Social Work from Wayne State University. I spent two years as a hospital social worker, working with cancer patients and their families. I was a therapist in Flint Michigan for 10 years before moving to Arizona.
In 1991, I created the Lighthouse Center, and have been providing psychotherapy to patients valley-wide ever since.
I have written a book entitled, Who's Walking Around in Your Head with Muddy Boots? It's a self-help book based on years of practice. Many of my patients say that they can hear my voice as they are reading it and that it helps.
I volunteer ed for two hospices with my Cairn terrier, Oz, doing pet visits to group homes, memory care facilities and hospice in-patient units.
I love to travel and usually plan several trips each year.
Please see the photos from my recent trips at the bottom of this page.
